Observation details
While watching the Himalayan buzzard perched on a tree. It flew towards marshes and caught a bird. While I photographed the buzzard the kill was in it's talons. Initially took it as a moorhen but given its size and the juvenile of moorhen in this month would be fairly larger than what the buzzard had caught. I knew it was a Crake species but not sure which one. Later I posted the pic on Ask id where it was confirmed as Spotted Crake owing to it's buff undertails thus eliminating Baillon's Crake and little Crake.
