Observation details
On Mystic Lake shoreline. Appeared to be a Pacific Golden or American Golden-Plover in winter plumage. Distinct light supercilium with cheek spot to rear of eye. Gold/yellow spots visible on wings and back. Appeared to have golden color on head as well. Primary projection long but I can’t tell if I’m seeing three or four feathers. Either bird would be a life bird for me. Two so-so photos for ID and one better photo which is clearer with much better lighting and detail. Better photo taken by Tjie Poo. Sorry for late posting. I was trying to be sure of the ID.
