Observation details
We stopped for a feeding flock (in open area where Hammock Rd. meets Graveyard Rd.) and discovered the GCKIs foraging low in fallen branches. They flew up to trees several times but kept returning to the tangle of branches that must have been blown down by Hurricane Matthew. Birds were vocalizing often..."tsee-tsee-tsee." No playback used.
