Media notes
Large flock of Crossbills of mixed type. Clean examples of kinked type 2 call can be seen around 8s and examples of type 4 can be seen around 37.5s. Birds were foraging in a mixed flock with Pine Siskins and Pygmy/Red-breasted Nuthatches in an confier forest composed predominantly of Ponderosa Pine (Pinus ponderosa) with scattered Western Larch (Larix occidentalis) and Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii).
