Media notes
I found little info on this soft nasal call note given repeatedly that reminded me of orchard oriole.
Observation details
Mostly yellowish tanager with darker olive back and wings. Wings had obvious wing bars. Bill heavy and yellow. Gave two different calls. The characteristic pit-er-ick, and a soft nasal note, much like an orchard oriole. . . Curious? The bird slowly moved around the yard acting like it wanted to visit the birdbath, but would stay still and hidden in foliage. Managed a few photos.
