Observation details
AMCR is present year-round at Sky Valley Resort. AMCR bill is proportionately shorter than CORA and it is pointed; whereas CORA bill is bulkier. AMCR call is higher-pitched than CORA: the sound of AMCR is a "caw" which is different from the low-pitched "cronk" sound of CORA. While flying, AMCR tail is square-tipped; CORA has a wedge-shaped tail, and it is proportionately longer. Also, flight silhouettes differ: AMCR has broad, rounded wings, whereas CORA has angular, slender wings.
