Adult collecting nesting material. Remarks: This is from the small reed patch of 4x10 meters where Yellow Bitterns are also nesting. At least 6 White-headed Munia nests are in the process of construction. The nests are ~1.5 metres off the water and about 0.5 metres from the top. All are built over water. Some are cylindrical, others more open. Material used includes Imperata cylindrica (Lalang) and the dried reeds as well. Inside the nest is softer material. - Amar.
