Remarks: Habitat: Green grass fields, the grasses just a little taller due to rain and open sand mounds within the fields. The entire area seemed to be raining with Rain Quails. Within every step the calls of the quail was heard but they were well hidden. But saw this individual coming on to the mound and spending quite some time calling for a mate (breeding season) looking either ways and then vanishing within the grasses again. - PK.
