With prey. Remarks: A subadult (nearly adult) bird with a crab. One of the least photographed races from India, this is the occipitalis subspecies from the Nicobar Islands. However, we found that [the species] was locally quite common on Great Nicobar Island. - PVS & SS Editor's Note: Access is highly restricted, so very few bird photographers have visited the Nicobar Islands, which explains the lack of photographs of this race.
