Adult in flight. Remarks: Masked Booby Sula dactylatra - A stray record. This is first record of this species seen alive from Kutch. on 13 July 2007 at the same spot, i.e. Pingleshwar, Sandeep Munjpara, Arjun Potter, Jyoti Tank and Parimal Solanki had found one dead Masked Booby Reference Indian Birds Vol. 4 No.3 May-June 2008 This species has been recorded regularly from Mithapur salt work (Tata Chemicals) near Jamnagar by Satish Trivedi. There are several sight records from there from the year 1987, 88, 89, 90, 93 and 94. Ref Flamingo Vo.1 No. 3 & 4. Thanks to S.N. Varu for giving me quick reference details. - JT.
