Media notes
Remarks: Last week-end the weather in Ulu Kali was good: not too cold and not misty. Early in the morning you could see many dead moths lying around on the ground. Many birds were attracted to the ground to pick up the moths as food, including the normally very shy, tiny and always fast moving species such as the White-browed Shrike Babbler, Black-eared Shrike Babbler, Mountain Tailorbird, Golden Babbler, Rufous-winged Fulvetta and the Chestnut-tailed Minla. They were hopping around the bushes near the fence, giving us the rare opportunity to view them from a close distance. - YLL. Date added to OBI: June 19, 2014.
