Observation details
Nice juvenile found by Michael a little while ago. He stayed on the bird while I drove over. Arrived and enjoyed views for 15 minutes before I had to leave to return to work. SBE Co. Lifer. Noted brownish appearance. Late Oct and still in juv plumage making this species most likely. No red on nape and minimal red at all on head. Other markings consistent. See photos.
