THE MALE WOULD CHASE THE FEMALE ON THE WATER, SWIMMING WITH GREAT FORCE RAPIDLY TOWARD HER. MALE SPREAD HIS WINGS TO TAKE AFTER THE FEMALE WHEN SHE FLEW AWAY FROM HIS APPROACH. AS THEY TOOK TO THE AIR, THEIR WINGBEATS COULD BE HEARD AS WELL AS THEIR FAINT, MUTED CALLS.:. Other Behaviors: Court, Perform Visual Display. Habitat: Lake.
