Observation details
was originally waffling between rail and baird's sandpiper, but not exact match with baird's. seems more consistent with VARA. Frequency is just below 4 kHz, which is consistent with VARA. Baird's is closer to 4 kHz. Pectoral Sandpiper is lower frequency and shorter in duration. No other bird sounds like this.
