Media notes

NOTES: Cover density: OPEN; FLIGHT CALLS SOUND AS THOUGH BIRDS WERE IN A SOUND CHAMBER DUE TO THE FACT THAT THESE BIRDS FLY IN PAIRS AND THE TRUMPETING OF ONE BIRD IS QUICKLY FOLLOWED BY THE OTHER BIRD. 10MAR56 - 11MAR56. Based on the site, these almost certainly represent Trumpeter Swans, at the time recognized by some authors as C. c. buccinator - CAM - 27 October 2004. Habitat: Pond.
