Observation details
I found this bird around 8:45 am moving and foraging among the willows and oaks near campsite # 48. It was associating with a Hutton’s and two Warbling Vireos. The flock disappeared after a couple of mins. I relocated the bird again with a flock of Hutton’s and Warbling Vireos around10:05am close to Norswings Drive and Pier Av., while walking the eastern lagoon trail. It was constantly on the move foraging and sometimes hovering while gleaning insects from the foliage. This Yellow-green Vireo had olive-green upperparts and a medium grey crown with a dark line from the bill to the reddish-brown eyes, and a white supercilium. Its underparts were white with yellow breast sides and flanks.
