Media notes
calls from female and both offspring; the adult calls are louder and lower pitched and have a wider range of frequencies (with formants at roughly 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 kHz), the immature calls and simpler with a single formant at 4 kHz (the closer immature is louder, the softer calls are from the other immature higher up in the tree); female call abruptly shut off (at 0:215) in response to a loud noise (door slamming)
Observation details
two juveniles branching, both calling; female also calling but male silent; pair copulated during which the male vocalised loudly, but unfortunately did not get recording (this male 'mating call' vocalisation different to other calls)
