Observation details
I parked along the shoreline by the river at Jeff's Pirates Cove, waiting for migrant waders to arrive. First came the Common Sandpiper, then two Grey-tailed Tattlers, six Ruddy Turnstones, and they rummaged through a blanket of debris along the coastline. The Common Sandpiper clasped a soft crab in its beak, and I took the picture. But, unfortunately, it was not clear what the other birds were feeding on.
