Media notes
Calls made by the RT Hummingbird are right after the Blue Jays make alarm calls and on to the end of the recording. Carolina Wren sings, Northern Cardinal calls, Starlings (singing at beginning), TUTI (towards end), and Grackle clucks also in this audio. I wish the hummingbirds could stay forever here.
Observation details
1 which was the immature male seemed to be giving alarm calls as the Cooper's Hawk flew in. He stayed perched on a branch for the longest calling facing south. Then within a few minutes, flew toward the SW. Later returned to feed and at the usual spot in the bushes and trees that he favors after the hawk left.
