Observation details
First one seen briefly in feeding flock centered on ripening muscadine. Individual was observed in good light at eye level. Vireo, bright green above darkening on crown, no wingbars, and nearly completely yellow below, extra bright in sunshine. Dark line through the lores. Could not obtain a photo. Second bird was seen all alone in red oak out by the road. Much less colorful, with yellow wash on upper breast and and undertail coverts. This individual was quietly singing. Photos and sound recording attached were of this second bird.
