Observation details
Heard both a dry "Tchip" note often doubled and the dry "rattle" call. Obviously one of the stub-tailed wrens and calls just much too dry for a Winter Wren. Chip calls sounded very similar to a Wilson's warbler rather than a Song Sparrow. On top of being unusual here, it also seems early! Nieman and others have photos and Nieman has a recording.
