Observation details
First found by Tom Wurster. Juvenile Pluvialis plover smaller than nearby Black-bellied Plovers, with more slender overall appearance, shorter, slimmer bill. Distinguished from Pacific Golden-Plover by strong whitish supercilium, rather dull coloration of upper parts, four primary tips visible past longest tertial, and long primary projection beyond tail.
