Observation details
Call record uploaded. Needs confirmation by experts. The bird is not familiar to me. However, Dr Vasudevan who was part of the birding party, saw the birds whirring away and also clearly saw the chestnut colored underparts. The correctness of the ID has been independently confirmed by Mr. Vivek Sudhakaran and Mr. Novel Kumar M S, both of whom are familiar with the species and its call in the field. My thanks to them.
