Observation details

Found by Janna Pauser on 6 October. Thanks to Mike Rogers who got me on the bird. It was foraging on the little hill between the boat dock parking lot and the Tully Road entrance when I took the photos at 8:45 am. It constantly pumped its tail as we watched it on the ground. Originally Mike spotted it moving through the eucalyptus trees in the boat dock parking lot, he called me over, and it moved southwardly and I heard its chip--higher than a Yellow-rump chip and fuller in sound. Mike relocated the bird on the hill, and again, called me over.
