Observation details

Juvenile in field off private lane with other shorebirds. Found by Ervin Martin. Photos. Thank you Zach Millen for arranging the visit with homeowners and tracking this bird for 90 minutes until the Ultralight aircraft flew so low over the field (!!) and flushed ALL the birds at exactly the moment i pulled in the drive and just as the sun was setting. Nail biting birding at its best. I owe you big time! And thanks to Nina Wolf for quickly relocating this sandpiper! Congratulations Ervin for the find and thank you for sharing!
