Observation details
Continuing, photos to be added. Found this day by Dave Weber who we met as we were both searching South of Zils Rd. Beach. It was associating with 2 other godwits and several other shorebirds before becoming part of a larger flock. Strongly patterned back with grayish rather than buffy tones as the Marbled associated with it. Strong white supercilium, white belly and undertail. Barring from which it is named observed in flight. Long bill, deep pink 2/3 of the way down the base and black towards the tip. Actively foraging throughout the time we observed it. LIfe bird for Tom, year bird for myself.
