Juvenile Long-billed Dowitcher - Oct. 7, 2016 - Conewago Wetlands, Lancaster County, Pa.
Observation details
Photographs, appears to be a molting juvenile. Long legged, unmarked tertials, straight supercilium. ID clinched by sharp "keek" calls heard in response when Killdeer would fly overhead calling or it would fly from one side of pond to the other. Calls unlike the "tu-tu-tu" calls of a SBDO. Have audio recordings to be added as well. (Originally reported 10/6 PM by Dan Hinnebusch as a probable LBDO.)
