Observation details
Depending on its posture, the Baird's Sandpiper can look "dainty" at times. But the long primaries extending beyond its tail feathers practically scream "I'm a Baird's Sandpiper." This bird was foraging hyper-actively above the tideline in drier areas with the Least Sandpipers.
