Observation details
Adult Light-Morph.. Observed PAJA chasing gulls close to the point early this morning , single white wing flash in wing, white in primaries P10 extended central pointed rectrix observed smaller all dark thinner bill small head ,Grayish faint breast band, body was slim in retrospect to wing size, slim dark slender long very pointed wings, also bird shows a nice demarcation line at base of wing versus POJA that has extended barring in the area near halfway down into the body Malar is light on this Bird... very fast wing beats no gliding observed Shearwatering type flight. Eliminating POJA by overall size and structure of bird also wing size which are much wider on POJA Also by the type of flight ..POJA has a much slower wing beats,bird is also lacking the double white wing flash present on adult POJA.
