A Painted Redstart sings as it moves with a big mixed-species flock through the mesic coniferous-deciduous woodland. Background. includes calls of a Tufted Flycatcher. Recorded using a Sony PCM-M10 with a Sennheiser ME67 with a K6 power module & foam windscreen.
Observation details
Common with our one big flock, which included at least 3 birds singing strongly and several well-fledged juveniles that were very black and white (not brownish anymore), but with no red.
