Observation details
First heard in flight, on its own, then seen flying in and landing in an invisible location in a short grass field ~20 metres away. The bird very soon took flight again and this time I had a brief view of it in the bins as it gained altitude and flew off to the northwest. Saw a pipit with bold white outer edges to the brown tail (could not make out how many recs were white but white was not extensive); no plumage details were visible in brief, silhouetted view in flight, but bird appeared fairly dark brown overall. Managed to record the two flight calls at the link below as it flew away: Audio Recording
