Observation details
First heard calling distantly from the low bushes and trees on the west side of the Meadow. A metallic chip that I assumed was a Whydah. However, I soon located it feeding and calling in a Chilean Pepper at 34.09833, -118.261723. A pale gray warbler, with a small rusty streak of feathers on the crown and deep rusty brown rump. Plain face with yellowish buff lores. Yellowish buff throat and upper breast becoming a more saturated buff on the flanks. Fed in this tree for a few minutes before flying over the reservoir fence to another small bush.
