Observation details
Continues. Adult. Small bird. Cream colored underparts, pale gray upperparts. Sharply pointed black bill. Black eye on cream colored face. Did succeed in seeing the red rump today. Black tail beginning to molt in. Has now lost the remaining couple of feathers observed on the 14th with tips of new feathers just beginning to project beyond the undertail coverts. Still looking very stumpy tailed. Gave a few "spink" chips and it moved about. Thought I heard a brief bout of song - a soft "seedl seedl seedl" like I heard on the 15th. Presumably an adult male bird if singing.
