Observation details
Noticed a bright big white wing patch on a black bird flying off telephone pole on Pennington and recognized as RHWO right away. Turned car around and watched bird fly back to poplar stand. Observed for 20 minutes. Two adults, both milling around a nest cavity in poplar. For a while AMKE showed up but the birds did not leave the area. Eventually observed two juvenile birds flying Around as well. One of the juveniles perched on the nest hole and eventually entered it. Possibly more juvenile but didn’t have time to study further. Pics of an adult in nest hole and juvenile perched on it.
