Observation details
**late; photos; One seen well and digiscoped at Bayou de View put-in, Monroe County, 21 Nov was a total shocker. The bird activity was very high in this area and I was working the flock (which also had Blue-headed Vireo and Orange-crowned Warbler) thoroughly when the Wood Thrush popped into view. It was instantly identifiable, and I managed some identifiable digiscopes. I tend to be very skeptical of reports of late spotted thrushes when Hermit is a potential confusion species, but I think the photos speak for themselves.
