Observation details
I took photos of this bird at the second little wet spot east of the parking lot. My initial reaction was, hey, this looks like an Eastern Kingbird. But, I listed it as a Black Phoebe, as I couldn't imagine this species (very rare for this area) showing up at Fernhill. And, in my mid 80's, my eyesight is OK (sort of) but not as sharp as it used to be, so I initially hesitated to list is as an EAKI until I'd put my photos on my computer where I could see them more clearly and decide for sure. Wow, am I glad I took photos. New county bird for me.
