Observation details
On 6:35 AM, 8/20/21 there were eight non-breeding plumaged Elegant Terns perched on posts in the middle, Western section of Salt Pond A2E. The Terns had long, thin, slightly de-curved, pointed, orange bills, a white forehead, black nape, greyish to greyish-beige wings with dark primaries, grey to grayish-beige mantle, white lower face, throat, chest and underparts and had reddish tinged black legs (note how red the legs are on the left tern in the middle photo). The first photo shows seven of the eight Terms seen on posts and the third photo is of a tern seen later.
