Observation details
Briefly viewed at a close range, this bird immediately stood out to me from the RBGU next to it because of the slightly darker mantle, and smaller yellow bill that didn't have any noticeable markings. It flew further down the beach where I took some digiscope photos. I returned later in the evening hoping to get some better photos with my camera but unfortunately could not re-find the bird.
