Observation details
One of the volunteers casually mentioned that she had seen a plover at LPPP on the beach to me in the mid-afternoon. Perking up from this, I asked her a few questions about it and immediately went searching for the bird. After about half an hour of searching I refound the bird and confirmed it was a Snowy! Was able to get a bunch of the Long Point birders out to see it, and it stuck around for a few hours, until I left. Great looks of it; it spent long periods sleeping and resting.
