Observation details
First noted a pair at 40.115355, -71.934484 consisting of two juveniles, an intermediate type and much lighter bird. Miles ahead we had yet another bird (juvenile), also headed east, and seen at 40.156627, -71.966830. Small, short-billed jaegers with neatly arranged dark barring on under and uppertail coverts. Two outer white primary shafts seen well and photographed. This bird was headed east, a common theme with all of the jaegers we noted today. Photos of all three individuals are attached.
