Media notes
A Squirrel Cuckoo (presumably an adult male) called and then moved through and sang, followed by a second bird (presumably the female), in the dry tropical woodland over coffee plantations above Tecuitata; overlooking Bahía Matachén & the Pacific. Background includes: Elegant and Citreoline Trogons, White-tipped Dove, and a Streak-backed Oriole. A clear, sunny morn. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22” parabola.
