Media notes
A shot straight down the feeder row as the boys concentrated for the late evening gluttony.
Observation details
Conservative, being the highest count at any one time with a fair fraction notably uncounted in the nearby bush & tree (favorites). Andy commented that the numbers are low, possibly due to their having been gone for a vacation at non-standard time and the feeders not being kept full. As the night wears on, the females and immatures grow more scarce and the males concentrate at the feeders, staying out quite a bit later than the rest. They spent much of the earlier time guarding feeder stations, maybe this is their chance to gorge or maybe they see a little better? Or just playing statistics.
