Observation details
**Regional Rarity- a mere 50 yards from a ground perched Merlin, two Buff-breasted were standing close together in an area where the sod harvesting left clumps and some grass tufts placed in a makeshift ~15 foot broad linear strip habitat. birds were small headed with small thin straight dark bill, buffy face and underparts, "scaly" back pattern, the white edging on the back feathers suggests both are juveniles
