Observation details
Baby by itself on lamp post, and then looked all excited when a bunch of pigeons came flying by and then swooped up and over and could tell as it scooted over to edge, watched them and followed the flock with it's head and eyes following them swoop down and then up, and then when one landed on lamp post it got really really excited because it immediately went over to it, like it knew that pigeon, and I presume it might be the baby pigeon's mom or parent. Unfortunately the mom or whoever landed far from it and on the round bar part of the lamp post, and it became clear the little one did not like being on that part as it quickly then retreated back over to the broad flat lamp post cover area where it probably likes the bigger flatter surface where it's stayed practically all day. I think it's probably 4-5 weeks old, and probably also just barely learned to fly. But other than these two, there were another 6 others flying in the two little flocks that got baby all excited, and then another one was napping on the other lamp post down on 13th St. Then I saw Oreo and another pigeon down on roof down street, and a couple walking around on sidewalk, and a few more flying up higher in air. I think I counted around 14 total, actually probably was some more on sidewalk also that I missed.
