Media notes
These seem to be contact calls between 2 Yellow-winged Caciques feeding ca. 20’ off the ground on the fruits of a fruiting guaymucho tree. This is at our second major stop in the Camino La Noria area—along a broader, more open arroyo through TDF that actually has some running water and pools. Background includes: Gila Woodpecker, cattle, White-tipped Dove, Ladder-backed Woodpecker, Inca Dove, White-winged Dove, Great Kiskadee, Sinaloa Wren, Streak-backed Oriole rattles, and more distant Yellow-winged Caciques. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
