Observation details
"The booby was encountered on the bow of the vessel and I would guess landed there after being blown North by some of our severe storms we have been encountering this year. It rested on the vessel for about 2 hours then disappeared. Weather: Sunny and calm, but prior to the 26th there was a large storm system with 50 knot winds estimated." Observer: Chris Noren, a survey scientist for the International Pacific Halibut Commission, on board the vessel "Kema Sue" during a summer halibut stock assessment. Location: 58.507 N, 148.814 W
