Observation details
Spotted a lone Wild Turkey hen with 2 different broods of chicks. 7 were juveniles all feathered out and able to launch up into the trees. 8 were very small immature chick recently fledged. It's not unusual to see multiple broods with multiple hens but this is the first time I have seen only one hen with multiple broods. I am assuming that something might have happened to the other hen. Not sure which brood belongs to the hen present.
