Observation details
Juvenile BRPE flew in from the south and joined a large feeding aggregation of gulls and RHAU far to the south of me. BRPE was immediately recognizable, and plunge-dive fed several times before flying a bit southeast and setting down on the water. BRPE then drifted and actively swam northwest until it reached the yellow buoy, around which it stayed until an 11:20 check for it found it gone (I had been scanning north, so I presume it flew off south or southeast into Elliott Bay). Seen by myself, Carl H., and John P. My second of the year! Photo is a still from digiscope video.
