Observation details
This does not come up as rare but to me they are in this part of Kings Co so I will add details and audios. Heard "wheep" calls as soon as I stopped despite the wind. Located a relatively large flycatcher (bigger than an OSFL) showing yellowish under and rufous on the tail (seen using 8X bins) in some of the many dead burned trees. It continued to call at irregular intervals of 10-40s and I managed two audio clips before two dump trucks sent if flying off to the SE. Went down the hill but did not hear or see it again. I have been stopping at this burn since early spring and this is at the first time I have seen or heard one.
