Observation details
Watched from 16.30 to 17.55 in the sheep field. Most of the time on the wires and sometimes flying around briefly and onto to the ground to catch prey, staying briefly on the ground then returning to the perch. Devoured some hefty worms, 2 grasshoppers and a snail. Did a couple of nice circuits of the field and at 16.40 flew off ESE past Weatherhill farmhouse, returning again at 16.50 . First for Suffolk and 2nd for UK. See pictures for plumage details.
